Worcestershire Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a pot, and cover. Turn the heat on low.
  2. Heat until it’s just barely brought to a simmer.
  3. Remove from the heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
  4. Store in a jar in the fridge for up to 1-2 months.

Notes

  • This recipe makes a lot of Worcestershire Sauce, especially if you’re only using small quantities for occasional recipes.  Try making a half batch first and see where that gets you.
